Argentium Sterling Silver
Argentium sterling silver is 92.5% silver. Approximately 1% of the remaining copper alloy has been replaced with germanium, which dramatically reduces tarnish of the silver.
Argentium sterling silver can be purchased for jewelry making as finished findings, in sheet or wire.
In addition to the anti-tarnish qualities, Argentium silver is more dent, scratch and abrasion resistant, doesn't develop firescale when heated, and can be hardened to nearly twice the strength of traditional sterling silver.
Clean items made using Argentium sterling silver using a polishing cloth, tumbler, or mild jewelry cleaner.
