Floater Rings
Large jump rings that are generally soldered and decorative, floaters are used to create movement in jewelry. String them with smaller beads that they can slide over, or limit their movement by using beads that are larger than the interior diameter.
These large jump rings can also be used in chain maille, but require cutting or use of unsoldered rings to join them.
