Awareness Ribbon Colors

The meaning behind various colored ribbons (which can be used as charms) is as diverse as the imagination. Below are common and less common associations of colors with disease awareness or cause awareness. Essentially, the premise behind a cause or awareness ribbon is to begin conversation, show support, and raise awareness. Various organizations and individuals have "chosen" various colors to "represent" their cause, therefore there may be more than one color ribbon associated with a specific cause or disease, depending on the source.
