Known for great prices on watch faces, I decided to give HHH Enterprises online store a shot.
Navigation on the web site is very easy, although selection is not quite as extensive as I believed it would be. I was pleased with the ability to order multiple items within one category at the click of a button. If there is a list of multiple items on one page, I really like to be able to say "I want one of these, one of these and four of these" without having to place in my shopping cart three separate times! It's like standing in an aisle at a brick and mortar store and dropping things in a cart without having to walk all over the store.
Prices for watch faces (as of February 2006) have been lowered: most watch faces are $3.99, with marcasite faces at $4.99. These are great prices!
Shipping choices are the usual foray - FedEx, UPS, USPS (although HHH Enterprises specifically states that they DO NOT recommend USPS shipping.I have never had an issue with the actual post office shipping and it's usually quite a bit less expensive, so that is usually my choice.)
Credit cards accepted are Visa, MasterCard and Discover. No American Express, much to my dismay. The online checkout system was quick and secure, however, and I did receive a prompt confirmation email.
My order was entered in the online system on a Monday, and by Wednesday I had my order. The watch faces that I had ordered were carefully packaged, each in a double baggie and placed in a sturdy US Priority Mail box with Styrofoam peanuts. The quality appears to be good - these are not Rolexes but keep time just fine!
My only complaint is that the watches were shipped running. I have a gripe with companies who ship watches or other battery operated items "turned on" - I never know what the shelf life of the battery is going to be, and I hate to sell a watch that is going to stop working in a short period of time!
