Back to School!

Another Beading Help Web Exclusive Interview!

Rena Klingenberg - used with permissionI was able to catch up with Rena Klingenberg a few days ago and chat with her about jewelry making, eBooks, and other topics. Rena's a successful jewelry artist who is continuously looking for new ways to advance her business. The best thing is, she's eager to share her success tips, and does so in her recently published eBook, Secrets of a Handcrafted Jewelry Shopping Service. I've read the book and can say I'm pretty excited about the ideas presented. Read Beading Help Web's exclusive interview which includes a taste of what you'll find in Rena's book!

Back to School

Rena Klingenberg pendant - used with permissionI can hardly believe it's already time for kids to go back to school. Seems like just yesterday we were planning our trip to Savannah and enjoying lazy summer days at the beach! Reality has kicked in, however, and along with shopping for spiral note books, back packs and pencils, I'm including a few Back to School Beading projects to my BTS to-do list.

Cell phone charms and Beady Buddies are great for marking backpacks.
• Use the basic instructions for a Mother's bracelet to make a bracelet in school colors with your teen's school mascot name.
Easy Book Buddies are a great way to use up old beads, and the project is simple enough that kids can even do it themselves during the "boring" last days of summer vacation.
