Beading Help Web's Second Birthday!
Happy Birthday to Beading Help Web! We're celebrating 2 years of providing consumer advice in the form of tips, reviews and FREE projects to our readers. While we have some really exciting things on the horizon, we plan to continue to publish helpful jewelry making advice for a long time to come!
To celebrate, I'm offering a copy of Stringing Style 2 to one lucky reader. Simply email me at beadingpublisher@consumerhelpweb.com and let me know how Beading Help Web has helped YOU. Deadline for entry is October 31, 2007. A random drawing will be held the week of November 4, 2007 and the winner will be announced on the Beading Help Web Blog.
Breast Cancer Awareness Month
A subject very near and dear to me, I actively support several breast cancer foundations both nationally and locally. You can show your support, raise donation funds, and increase awareness by making one of Beading Help Web's original BCA jewelry designs. New projects include a 3-strand BCA bracelet and the classic-look pearl stretchy BCA bracelet. Old favorites are still available, like the BCA Dangle Necklace, Have a Heart BCA bracelet, and Think Pink BCA Charm. All of these are beginner-level projects that you can make in less than an afternoon!
Don't Let Halloween Sneak Up On You!
Time to start thinking about holiday jewelry. It all starts out with Halloween, celebrated October 31. A brand new project is my Children's BOO Bracelet, which is made from 100% lead free materials! Make spooky Spider in a Web Earrings or a cute Sparkling Pumpkin Pendant and you'll be set for the month of October.
Get Trendy!
Finally, if you missed our Fall 2007 Fashion Forecast, it's still available on the Beading Help Web News page. Check out what the fashion gurus say you "should" be wearing. I think it's fun to read about the trends, but I still go by the philosophy that you should make and wear what you like!
