Happy Holidays from Beading Help Web!
Here in the Midwest, we've seen snow, cold weather, and the radio stations are playing holiday music 24 x 7. My neighbors have put up their outdoor decorations (some of them getting more outrageous every year!) and friends and family gather for parties and holiday cheer.
Handmade jewelry or home accessories make great gifts. I won't divulge any secrets, but some folks on Santa's list are getting Endless Maille bracelets, beaded Stem Wraps, and Snowman Earrings. Each one of these gift suggestions take less than an hour to complete and the recipient will appreciate something that's been specially handcrafted for them!
Make something special for yourself as well! Brighten up your holidays with a High Society Crystal Bracelet, Christmas Dangle Bracelet, or one of my favorites, our Holiday Tree Earrings. Everything looks more festive when you add some sparkle!
This time of year, I'm reminded of how fortunate and blessed my family is. We have a roof over our heads, food in the fridge, warm clothes, good health, and so much more. Throughout the year, I look for ways to use my jewelry business to help others. The easiest method is to donate proceeds from sales to a charity (see my blog entry November 24 about the holiday show benefiting Charlie Brown's Kids), but you can also donate pieces for raffles, donate jewelry to a women's shelter or a nursing home, or make breast cancer bracelets and donate to a hospital to give to breast cancer patients. Check first before donating to be sure the organization can use the items.
Happy Holidays!
