Classy Black Pepper Pasta Bracelet

"Noodles" are long, curved metal tubes that can be used in beading in a number of ways. In this bracelet, I've combined longer noodles with a coordinating focal bead and black onyx for a classic bracelet. Another benefit of this style is that the bracelet doesn't "flip" — the toggle clasp stays at the bottom of my wrist when I wear it.

Level: Beginner
Technique: Stringing

Materials:
Bali focal bead — mine is 3cm (30mm)
Two Bali noodle beads — mine are 4cm (40mm) each
Twelve 4mm x 6mm faceted black onyx rondelles
Two 4mm Bali beads
Bali toggle clasp
Two sterling crimp beads
Sterling French Wire (gimp)
Beading wire

Cut beading wire two inches longer than the length of your finished bracelet. Attach to the round end of the toggle, using the French Wire and crimp bead.

To use French Wire, cut a small length (approx 1cm) of French Wire. String a crimp bead and then the French Wire on the beading wire. Loop the beading wire through the ring of the clasp, using the section of the wire with the French Wire on it to go through the ring. Thread the beading wire back through the crimp, tighten so that the crimp is next to both ends of the French Wire, and crimp. You should have a short length of beading wire in a tail that can be hidden beneath your first two-three beads.

String the following pattern:
one 4mm Bali bead
three onyx beads
one noodle
three onyx beads
Bali focal bead
three onyx beads
one noodle
three onyx beads
one 4mm Bali bead

Attach the end of the beading wire to the bar end of the toggle using the French wire as outlined above. Run excess wire back through two-three beads, and clip.
