I love to read, but I'm forever using scraps of paper, old envelopes and even candy bar wrappers as bookmarks. Aside from looking tacky, they can leave chocolate stains on my pages! Fun and Fancy Ribbon Bookmarks can be made up in minutes using spare beads, and I can have one for every book I'm in the middle of reading.

Level: Beginner

Cloth ribbon
Jump Ring (2)
Head Pins (5)
6mm Swarovski Crystal Beads (5)

Cut a length of ribbon 15 inches long (this will fit a large, hardbound book as well as a paperback).

Thread one end of the ribbon through a jump ring, and tie an overhand double knot to loosely secure the ring to the end of the ribbon. Repeat on the other end of the ribbon.

Create wrapped loop dangles using the headpins and Swarovski crystals.

Attach three crystal dangles to one jump ring and two to the other jump ring.
