Sparkling Pumpkin Pendant
For Halloween or fall, this pendant is super easy to make and sparkles with Swarovski times lucky 13! You could easily substitute the Hyacinth 6mm bicones with Siam (red) and make an apple pendant for Teacher's Appreciation gifts!
Level: Beginner
Materials
8 6mm Swarovski crystals, Hyacinth
5 4mm Swarovski crystals, Emerald
22g sterling silver wire (dead soft or half hard)
Step 1Cut approximately 7" of wire. String 8 Hyacinth bicones on the wire, centering the bicones so you have about equal lengths of extra wire at both ends. |

Step 2Bring one end back through the last bicone on the opposite end of the wire. You will be forming a circle with your bicones. Pull gently on both wires to make the circle tight, bringing all bicones flush with each other. |
|
Step 3String 5 Emerald bicones on the wire that was NOT pulled back through the last Hyacinth bicone. |

Step 4Carefully loop the wire with the Emerald bicones back through the circle, so that you are forming a bail at the top of the circle. Loop the wire around the circle again, so that it will stay in place (it will be between the last Hyacinth bicone and the first Emerald bicones.) |

Step 5Trim the excess wire on both ends so that it is about 1" long; using pliers, form loose spirals (they will look like the tendrils on a pumpkin plant). String the pendant on a sterling chain, satin or leather lace. Click photo for enlarged view |
